Golf dominates district championships
The girls' golf team stands together after the district tournament.
On the Vaaler Creek Golf Course in Blanco, the girls golf team placed first district championships on April 6.
The top medalists were:
- District Champion: Holly Mendez (Senior)
- District Runner Up: Brooklyn Sutton (Senior)
- 3rd Place: Abigail Van Cleave (Freshman)
The girls will advance to the Regional Tournament Play next week on April 13 – 14 at the Republic Golf Course in San Antonio.
The boys’ golf team will compete in district this Wednesday and Thursday, April 6 – 7.
